His illustrious career saw him sign his first professional contract with Vejle Boldklub at just 18, fulfilling a childhood dream. With additional professional experiences spanning clubs in Norway, Malaysia, the United States, and the Faroe Islands, including stints with Seattle Sounders FC and Tacoma Stars, Philip intimately understands the game's nuances. It was this insight that drove him to co-found Mangofera, ensuring that players receive the tools they need to thrive.

James Murphy's connection to soccer runs deep, with a lifelong involvement in the sport. Over the past decade, he has dedicated himself to managing elite youth soccer clubs and academies, witnessing firsthand the challenges young players face in accessing quality training equipment. His frustration with the lack of suitable products for youth development led him to join forces with Philip on the field, where they shared a vision for Mangofera.
